A One-Time Cling

Dallon let the wind tousle his hair as he sat on the park swing with a frown of despair marred his features. What had he done? How could he have done that… especially to him? Dallon sighed and pushed off the ground, and rose into the air, why did he suddenly regret it? They both had known the consequences; it was supposed to be no strings attached. So, why was he still remembering the morning in such clear detail? They both knew it was a one-time fuck.“Where are you going?” Dallon froze at the doorway of his previous one night stand’s apartment, he turned to gaze inquiringly at the blonde staring at him with baby-blue eyes, his body was bare except for the glittering pendant on a leather cord around his neck and the red, cotton sheet slipping down his stomach to rest just above what Dallon had pleasured the night before. He murmured his name and Dallon’s mind took him back to the memory of how the blonde had moaned and screamed it that night, his cock twitched but he pushed the thought away. He couldn’t get attached!

“No strings, remember?” He spoke gruffly; he willed his body to move, however, it wasn’t listening. He saw the blonde wordlessly mouth the words he had just spoken and averted his eyes; he could still remember the ministrations the blonde’s mouth could perform. As he looked up the guilt set in as he saw the blonde’s eyes sparkle with unshed tears.

“You agreed,” Dallon spoke trying to keep his voice steady. “I was going to be your first gay fuck. No relationship, no friendship and no strings.” The blonde looked down at his hands, they twisted in his lap and Dallon noticed crystalline teardrops darken the red sheet. He let out a soundless sigh and turned, as he opened the door he turned back to the blonde and bid him one final goodbye. His only reply was a choked sob.

Dallon looked up at the sky, it didn’t even compare to the blonde’s eyes. Standing from his position on the swing he headed home, one name resounded throughout his mind. Luke.
