Sakura looked around the cafe, Syaoran was training with Kurogane and Fai was smiling with Mokona. Sakura’s face broke out into a small smile; she looked back to the dish in her hand and started to dry it, unexpectantly letting out a small hiccup. Blinking she continued with what she was doing. “Ne, Sakura-chan, you have the hiccups?” Fai laughed slightly, the young girl nodded with a small giggle; though interrupted with yet another hiccup. Sakura put down the plate she was holding, as another hiccup-jump racked her body.

“I’ll never get anything -” she hiccuped, “Done like this.” She heard Fai walk towards her; she looked at him curiously as he took a clean glass and ran some cool water before filling the glass. As he passed it to her she made a curious noise in the back of her throat.

“Just drink it, Sakura-chan.” The blonde smiled as Sakura took a sip and another; her eyes closing as she gulped it down. “There is no cure for hiccups Sakura-chan, but time and water help a bit… Though, Sakura-chan, I know one more thing that can help.” Fai was surprised he was even doing this – he had already promised himself he wouldn’t do anything of the sort.

“A-Another, Fai-san?” She asked curious; though hiccupping slightly in the beginning. Fai smiled; she was always so quiet and polite to everyone – still he didn’t know what she was really like with her memories.

“Just close your eyes Sakura-chan.” As her world darkened Fai leant down to her height, he felt as though he was about to commit a heinous crime, though the feeling of hope overwhelmed it, so, he closed his eyes and lightly pressed his lips against hers. He felt the princess gasp softly and he lifted a hand and rested it over her eyes – he didn’t want her to see.

The bell above the door jingled and Fai reluctantly pulled away and started to head to the other side of the counter; Sakura fell out of her frozen stupor and took his hand.

“Wait…” She whispered softly, “Fai-san – why did -” Her question was cut short as he interrupted her.

“Are your hiccups gone; Sakura-chan?” Fai inquired with a smile, the younger girl blinked and laughed softly.

“Yes – they are Fai-san. Thankyou.” She smiled up at him – her question temporarily forgotten. Suddenly Fai hiccupped…

A One-Time Cling

Dallon let the wind tousle his hair as he sat on the park swing with a frown of despair marred his features. What had he done? How could he have done that… especially to him? Dallon sighed and pushed off the ground, and rose into the air, why did he suddenly regret it? They both had known the consequences; it was supposed to be no strings attached. So, why was he still remembering the morning in such clear detail? They both knew it was a one-time fuck.“Where are you going?” Dallon froze at the doorway of his previous one night stand’s apartment, he turned to gaze inquiringly at the blonde staring at him with baby-blue eyes, his body was bare except for the glittering pendant on a leather cord around his neck and the red, cotton sheet slipping down his stomach to rest just above what Dallon had pleasured the night before. He murmured his name and Dallon’s mind took him back to the memory of how the blonde had moaned and screamed it that night, his cock twitched but he pushed the thought away. He couldn’t get attached!

“No strings, remember?” He spoke gruffly; he willed his body to move, however, it wasn’t listening. He saw the blonde wordlessly mouth the words he had just spoken and averted his eyes; he could still remember the ministrations the blonde’s mouth could perform. As he looked up the guilt set in as he saw the blonde’s eyes sparkle with unshed tears.

“You agreed,” Dallon spoke trying to keep his voice steady. “I was going to be your first gay fuck. No relationship, no friendship and no strings.” The blonde looked down at his hands, they twisted in his lap and Dallon noticed crystalline teardrops darken the red sheet. He let out a soundless sigh and turned, as he opened the door he turned back to the blonde and bid him one final goodbye. His only reply was a choked sob.

Dallon looked up at the sky, it didn’t even compare to the blonde’s eyes. Standing from his position on the swing he headed home, one name resounded throughout his mind. Luke.
